PROCESS FIRST
Match the textile to the printer
Sublimation, pigment, latex, UV and other systems require different fibre, coating, heat and finishing conditions. Confirm compatibility with your production equipment.
APPROVE THE RESULT
Test before the full run
Print an offcut to approve colour, detail, stretch, hand, shrinkage and finishing before committing to production quantities.
PRINTING QUESTIONS
Choose with confidence
Which fabrics are commonly used for sublimation printing?
White polyester fabrics are commonly selected because sublimation dye bonds with polyester. The exact knit, stretch, weight, finish and production process must still be tested.
Do you provide a textile-printing service?
These pages focus on purchasing suitable fabrics. You can send an enquiry with your print method and project requirements so the fabric options and any available assistance can be discussed.
Why should I test colour before production?
Fabric construction, whiteness, heat, pressure, ink, paper and colour profiles can change the result. A physical test helps confirm colour, hand, stretch and wash behaviour.
